Ever known someone who gets colds whenever there are weather changes? Like in tropical countries, when it goes from rainy season to dry season (vice versa) some people suddenly start sneezing throughout the day (sometimes for days)and have colds for no reason? Or how about every morning you have colds but it disappears after awhile as soon as you are up and about?
There are also those who get bad cough and colds after cleaning where a lot of dust was involved.
Well if these things sound familiar, I tell you, it's not colds from any virus or bacteria but it's allergic rhinitis. For those allergic to pollen it's called hay fever. It's actually hereditary and can run in the family.
What can you do if you find out you or your loved ones have it? Well go to the doctor of course! Get some antihistamine prescribed or something.
For people who are interested in alternative medicine, you can try using a neti pot to clear your nasal passages. If that turns out to irritate your nose more then there are definitely other ways you could find out there that would work for you.
