Ayurvedic ( which means science of life) medicine looks to nature as a source of wellness; it is a traditional, holistic Indian medical system. I wrote a post in February about Ayurvedic medicine, click on this site: www.bubblews.com/news/2283449-india-and-ayurvedic-medicine to read.
This medical system claims that oil pulling cures more than 30 systemic diseases.
Oil pulling- done by swishing one teaspoon to one tablespoon of oil in your mouth; it is recommended this be done in the morning before you brush your teeth. Personally I use Coconut Oil but you can use. You can also use sesame oil, sunflower, safflower or olive oil instead. Oil pulling can even whiten your teeth. It can help with arthritis also.
Swish the oil in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. Do not gargle with the oil; just swish over your teeth and gums and spit it out. They suggest you spit in the trash and not take the chance of messing up your plumbing.
The human mouth is like a laboratory for breeding billions of germs such as streptococcus, fungi, parasites and other nasty products. The mouth and tongue is cleansed. Swishing the oil in your mouth can detoxify your body and pull bacteria and other debris into the oil. Give it a try and let me know if you see some improvements in the way you feel.
